“Last week a mystery happened and everybody thinks that you should find the missing girl,” said Mrs. Pickle Nose. “Detective Candy Tooth, you have a time line of 1 week to solve the mystery and find the missing fourteen year old,” said Mrs. Pickle Nose. Detective asked, “What if I don’t find her?” “Then you’re FIRED!” scream Mrs. Pickle Nose.
Once Detective Candy found the crime scene, she saw this strange girl sitting on the ground. Det. Candy asked the girl, “Who are you and why are you here?” The little girls reply was,” My name is Sweet Tart and this is where my sweet sister was kidnapped, or so I hear.” Det. Candy Tooth told the girl that she had to leave. Luckily, this little girl wasn’t as stubborn as some people. On her way out that she said something that she could barely hear. It sounded like, “By the way my sister would never drop her special kid-stick on the ground.”
When the little girl finally left, Det. Candy started snooping around. She found a toy rocket outside a broken window, a Nerf bullet, a stuffed ball that said” Franklin” on it, and a kid-stick on the ground with a lot of dust all over it. Det. Candy thought all this over and decided that the toy rocket could have been used for the escape and the Nerf bullet might have been used as a red herring. But Detective Candy was still stuck on what the kid-stick and the ball had to do with the mystery.
Det. Candy remembered passing a place called Franklin on her way and maybe she could use the kid-stick as a trap. Detective Candy knew that she better get in her car and try finding Franklin now. So after a while of looking for Franklin she saw some person just walking by the street. Det. Candy got out of her car and asked the strange person,” What’s your name and where is Franklin?” The persons reply was,” My name is Pixie Stick, and Franklin is three miles south of here.”
After that strange thing happened Det. Candy Tooth was on her way to Franklin. After a three mile drive Det. Candy was finally at her destination. When Detective Candy Tooth was finally inside the building she saw a tough security guard standing in front of the entrance. So instead, Det. Candy Tooth snooped around the large building not in the guard’s sight. When Det. Candy was half way around the building she saw a hockey puck inside a broken window. Detective Candy thought that it might be a good idea to investigate inside the broken window. When she was forty steps inside the broken window, Det. Candy saw that there was a dead end. After a while of thinking, Det. Candy figured out that it was a red herring.
After Det. Candy was outside the broken window, she thought she saw a small thing move on her right. It looked like the thing could have been a child. Det. Candy went over to where she thought she saw the movement, and a good twenty steps from the spot was a secret door. Detective Candy went over and slightly and gently opened up the secret door.
After the secret door was finally opened, she saw a child crouched down eating some yucky food. Det. Candy asked the girl what her full name was and was she the girl that was kidnapped? The girls reply was,” My full name is Lolli Pop Tart and no, I was not kidnapped. I ran away from home.” Det. Candy Tooth asked why the girl ran away. Lolli Pop Tart's reply was,''I ran away because I had all these house chores to do at home.” After Det. Candy told Lolli that doing house chore were helpful and the right thing to do, Lolli asked if she could go home. After Lolli was safe at home with her parents in Austin, Texas, all thanks to Det. Candy. Detective Candy Tooth went out to some get candy and donuts.
